News Equity to Address African-American Artists on Broadway in February Actors' Equity Association, the stage actors' union, will host the discussion "African American Artists on Broadway: Life, Work and Inspiration" with Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell and others Feb. 1, the first day of Black History Month.

Other participants include Lisa Dawn Cave (stage manager of Shuffle Along, Equity Councillor), Roosevelt André Credit (Porgy and Bess), Peter Jay Fernandez (All The Way), Carly Hughes (Pippin), Kenneth J. McGee (stage manager of China Doll), Dennis Stowe (Aladdin) and Tommar E. Wilson (The Book of Mormon). They will discuss their careers, what inspires them and how working on Broadway has changed their lives.

The event will be moderated by Equity Councillor Allyson Tucker (Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life).
