News Eric Michael Gillett, Karen Akers, Melanie Vaughan Set for I Won't Sing a Sondheim Song... or will I? The Cabaret Cares season will conclude April 17 at 7 PM with Eric Michael Gillett, who will offer I Won't Sing a Sondheim Song... or will I? at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.

He will be joined on stage by special guests Melanie Vaughan and Tony nominee Karen Akers as well as Chris J. Handley and Kelly McDonald. Musical director/arranger Jeff Cubeta will be featured on piano. Cabaret Cares is the award-winning series that raises funds for Help Is On The Way Today, a not-for-profit organization that helps and assists LGBT youth living with HIV and AIDS.

Gillett has appeared on Broadway in Kiss Me, Kate; Sweet Smell of Success; and The Frogs, Off-Broadway in Dream a Little Dream, Frankenstein, Encores! Of Thee I SingTime & Again and at New York City Opera in Cinderella, The Pirates of Penzance and Candide. Screen credits include "Law & Order," "Ed," "The Producers," "Maid in Manhattan" and the upcoming film "The Third Testament." Cabaret shows include Cast of Thousands: Gillett Sings Carnelia; Hook, Line & Singer; and Hooray for Love – Gillett Sings Arlen.
