Directed by Andrew Niccol, "Good Kill" will feature Hawke as a fighter pilot, with Jones playing his wife. The cast also includes Zoe Kravitz ("Divergent," "Californication") and Jake Abel ("The Host," "The Lovely Bones") as members of his flight crew and Bruce Greenwood ("Star Trek Into Darkness," "Endless Love") as his superior officer.
The film follows Hake's character struggling with the stress of battling the enemy by drone and his familial drama. He begins to question the purpose of his mission.
"Good Kill" marks a reunion for Hawke and Niccol, who worked together on the films "Gattaca" and "Lord of War."
Hawke recently starred in the films "The Purge" and "Before Midnight." His stage work includes The Coast of Utopia, Henry IV, The Seagull and Macbeth.
Jones stars on the AMC drama "Mad Men." Her film work includes "X-Men: First Class," "Pirate Radio" and "Unknown."
