News Evan to Replace Sills in Broadway's Little Shop of Horrors Robert Evan, recently seen Off-Broadway in Johnny Guitar, will replace Douglas Sills in the Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors.

A spokesperson for the production confirmed that Evan will begin his stint as dentist Orin Scrivello — and a handful of other roles — June 29. Sills departs the Howard Ashman-Alan Menken musical June 13; in the interim understudy Darren Ritchie will plays Sills' roles.

The Jerry Zaks-directed production also welcomes a new Seymour June 24. Joey Fatone replaces original Seymour Hunter Foster, who leaves the musical June 6. Kerry Butler, who plays Audrey, is also leaving the company after the June 20 performance. An announcement of her replacement is expected shortly.

The Little Shop company currently includes Kerry Butler as Audrey, Hunter Foster as Seymour, Rob Bartlett as Mushnik, Douglas Sills as Orin, Michael-Leon Wooley as the voice of Audrey II and DeQuina Moore, Trisha Jeffrey and Carla J. Hargrove as, respectively, Chiffon, Crystal and Ronnette.

Robert Evan, a recent star of Johnny Guitar, has appeared on Broadway in Dance of the Vampires, Jekyll & Hyde and Les Misérables. Another recent project was Off-Broadway's The Prince and the Pauper. His tour credits include Les Miz, Jekyll & Hyde and Hello, Dolly! A former UGA football player, Evan has appeared on ABC-TV's "All My Children," and his recordings include "Jekyll & Hyde," "The Civil War," "Cyrano," "The Broadway Musicals of 1940," "The Prince and the Pauper" and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's third Christmas album.

Little Shop of Horrors plays the Virginia Theatre, located at 245 West 52nd Street.
