News Ever So Humble, With In the Heights' Andréa Burns, Makes World Premiere July 14 Ever So Humble, a new work by New York playwright Tim Pinckney (Message to Michael), begins its world-premiere engagement July 14 at the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY.

Directed by Hangar artistic director Peter Flynn, performances of the comedy, which was inspired by E.M. Forster's novel "Howards End," are scheduled to continue through July 23.

The cast boasts Andréa Burns (In the Heights), Philip Hoffman (A Catered Affair, Falsettos, Into the Woods), Eric T. Miller (LAByrinth Theatre’s Sweet Storm), Greg Bostwick, Jesse Bush, Karl Gregory and Erica Steinhagen.

"An expired New York City sublet leaves Nick and his two best friends with no place to live," according to press notes. "Enter Howard - a loveable, but lonely man with a house in Brooklyn. Friendships blossom and hilarious complications arise, as Howard's house becomes the source of a sticky dilemma for his heirs and his new friends."

The Hangar season will also include August Wilson’s Gem of the Ocean (July 28-Aug. 6, featuring Craig Wallace and David Toney) and Richard O'Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show (Aug. 18-Sept. 3.).
