Video EXCLUSIVE: Celebrate Stephen Sondheim’s Birthday with a Medley from Lesli Margherita The Matilda favorite performed at the fourth annual Sondheimas concert.

The fourth annual Sondheimas, celebrating the birthday of Stephen Sondheim, took place March 20 at the Public Theater's Joe's Pub. Among the stars paying tribute to the legendary composer at the concert was Olivier winner Lesli Margherita.

The Matilda and Dames at Sea favorite performed a medley, arranged by music director Andrei Strizek, weaving the title ballad from Anyone Can Whistle with Into the Woods' "Stay With Me" and "Being Alive" from Company. Take a look at her performance above.

The event—titled The Sondheimas Mixtape this year—honors the composer by presenting new takes of his some of his beloved classics and more obscure numbers. The 2017 edition (two days shy of his 87th birthday) also included a Sondheim "Love Medley" (not to be confused with the love medley from another composer with a March 22 birthday) performed by Ashley Blanchet, Ariana DeBose, and Meagan Michelson, and a mashup of Fun Home and Into the Woods arranged by Steven Cuevas and performed by cabaret favorite Amy Jo Jackson.

Sondheimas is produced and officiated by Maggie Larkin and David Levy.
