News Exclusive! Jonathan Groff, Billy Porter, "Smash" Showrunner and 5 More Line Up For BroadwayCon Jonathan Groff, Tony Award winner Billy Porter and "Smash" showrunner Joshua Safran are among the artists who have joined the lineup of participants for the first-ever BroadwayCon, an event that will bring together theatre fans and Broadway stars.

Set to take place Jan. 22-24, 2016, at the New York Hilton Midtown, BroadwayCon was created as a one-of-a-kind weekend that will bring theatre fans together with the performers and creators of their favorite shows.

Also joining the list of participants are Ann Harada, Tony and Pulitzer-winning songwriters Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, producer Barbara Whitman and casting director Bernard Telsey

The initial batch of tickets went on sale March 15. The second batch of tickets go on sale July 18, with the third and final batch released on Oct. 17.

Available packages include a $125 Day Pass, a $250 General Pass and a $600 VIP Pass. For details on perks of each pass, click here

Previously announced participants include Skylar Astin, Susan Blackwell, Jenn Colella, Gavin Creel, Matt Doyle, LaChanze, Tamika Lawrence, Telly Leung, Michael McElroy, Andy Mientus, Anthony Rapp, Seth Rudetsky and Jason Tam.

The event promises "panels, performances, workshops, keynotes, autograph and photo opportunities, concerts, meet-and-greets, Q&As and a lot more."
