Broadway's Topdog/Underdog has extended its limited run through Aug. 11.

Previously, there had been talk that the play would stay on Broadway through Labor Day weekend. For now, though, the run will last two weeks past its original close date of July 28.

There is a possibility that the show will be recast after Aug. 11.

Suzan-Lori Parks' play opened at the Ambassador Theatre April 7, after previews from March 12. George C. Wolfe directs.

Jeffrey Wright and rapper Mos Def star as the warring siblings. The brothers were named Lincoln and Booth by their father as a joke. Lincoln (played by Wright) spends his days as a white-face impersonator of the 16th president, while Booth (Mos Def) shoplifts suits and expensive champagne. The brothers are haunted by the past and their obsession with the street con-game, three-card monte. The two strive for a family unity they have never had, but end up battling to the death.
