Performed by French juggler Ezec Le Floch, Un Bilboquet, a show that mixes dancing, music and juggling opens April 28, 1998 at The Nelson Rodrigues Theatre in Rio de Janeiro.

Le Floch, 29 graduated from the Circus National School of Chalons, France. His promising career won him the 1997 French New Circus Award for Best Upcoming Artist of the Year. Considered by French critics and the public as a combination of a modern Samurai, mime artist and dancer, Le Floch received several awards from Circus Festivals throughout Europe.

Le Floch created the show, and will exhibit his abilities with the help of a toy named bilboquet. The bilboquet consists of a small wooden ball with a hole at one end, attached to a pointed stick by a thin cord. The winner is who is able to insert the stick into the hole of the ball, without using both hands.

Speed is the key word of the show, where the surrealist humor and the juggling come together mingled with the poetry of the juggler´s movements that make the wooden ball slide along his entire body, with grace and lightness.

Performances are from Tuesday to Friday - 8 PM. Tickets cost R$12,00. For information call 021 262 0942 at The Nelson Rodrigues Theatre in Rio de Janeiro. --By Nertutila Achao
