News F. Murray Abraham Will Join the Cast of Showtime Drama "Homeland" Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham has landed a recurring role on the Showtime drama series "Homeland," according to EW.com.

Later this season, Abraham will be appear as Dar Adul, who is described as "a brilliant intelligence operative in his 60-70s. He has worked all over the world for the Special Activities Division of the CIA."

"Homeland" also features stage stars Claire Danes (Pygmalion), Damian Lewis (Hamlet) and Mandy Patinkin (Evita).

Abraham, who won an Oscar for his performance in "Amadeus," has been seen on Broadway in Mauritius, Triumph of Love, A Month in the Country, Angels in America and Legend, among others.
