Fela Fabregas is planning to produce the Mexican premiere of Adler and Ross' baseball-musical comedy Damn Yankees (Malditos Yankees). Rumored to star as Applegate is Mauricio Herrera (They're Playing our Song, Lend Me a Tenor), while Lolita Cortes (currently starring in Beauty and the Beast) may star as Lola. Audition dates for Damn Yankees will be announced later this year since Ms. Fabregas is now concentrated in the Mexican premiere Crazy for You (Loco Por Ti), scheduled to open late March at Mexico City's Teatro San Rafael.
Once Crazy is up and running, Fabregas will start the Yankees project.
