Prince first tested her act at Joe's Pub last July. She then returned in September, opening officially to positive reviews. Prince is currently performed her show, titled "Leap of Faith," at Manhattan's Firebird Cafe, Dec. 7-22.

In the stage star's (Guys and Dolls, Little Me) first foray into cabaret, Prince sings numbers from the shows she's appeared in (a scat "Adelaide's Lament," "The Other Side of the Tracks") as well as songs from On a Clear Day..., Bells Are Ringing, Paper Moon and some obscure selections (the heartwarming "Sweet Kentucky Ham," the singularly bizarre "Animal in the Pit").

Prince won a Tony for Guys and Dolls. Other credits include Falsettoland, Dubarry Was a Lady, and Jerome Robbins' Broadway.

The Firebird Cafe is located at 365 W. 46th St. For information, call (212) 586-0244. For information on the Joe's Pub dates, call (212) 239-6200.
