News Falcon Theatre's New Five-Show Season Has Laurel and Hardy and Michael Learned Falcon Theatre, the Burbank, CA, company founded by Garry Marshall and focused on comedies, announced a 2011-2012 season that will include Michael Learned and Granville Van Dusen starring in Southern Comforts.

Michael Learned

Learned starred in TV's "The Waltons" and recently toured with On Golden Pond. She and Van Dusen appeared in Southern Comforts — about the development of a December-December relationship between a feisty widow and a crusty widower — earlier this year in Long Beach, CA.

The Falcon troupe's tenth subscription season will also feature two new musical parodies from the Troubadour Theater Company, a West Coast premiere about film-comedy duo Laurel and Hardy and the West Coast premiere of Dissonance.

The season runs Aug. 31, 2011-April 22, 2012. Here's the Falcon season at a glance:
