News Fans Invited to Chicago Taping on Oct. 3; CBS Broadcast Date is Oct. 4 To celebrate its upcoming sixth anniversary, the Broadway company of Chicago will be featured on CBS-TV's "Early Show" on Friday, Oct. 4.

To celebrate its upcoming sixth anniversary, the Broadway company of Chicago will be featured on CBS-TV's "Early Show" on Friday, Oct. 4. The hit Kander and Ebb musical will present a selection of songs on the early morning talk show — audiences will be treated to "All That Jazz," "Me and My Baby" and "When You're Good to Mama." Performers will include Charlotte d'Amboise as Roxie Hart, Roxane Carrasco as Velma Kelly and Roz Ryan as Matron "Mama" Morton.

The selections will be taped on Thursday, Oct. 3 at noon. Those wishing to attend the taping should head to the Plaza at CBS Studios, which is located in New York City at 767 Fifth Avenue at 59th Street.

Bob Fosse, John Kander and Fred Ebb's Chicago, presented by Barry and Fran Weissler, plays the Shubert Theatre, 225 W. 44th Street. It won the Tony for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking.
