News Faux-Real Open Their FUNBOX in Times Square at 135, Feb. 18 The Faux-Real Theatre Company inaugurate the new theatrical space "135" in Manhattan's Times Square area with their production of FUNBOX Times Square. The Faux-Real Theatre Company inaugurate the new theatrical space "135" in Manhattan's Times Square area with their production of FUNBOX Times Square. The production, which began performances Feb. 2, now opens Feb. 18 for an open-ended run.

FUNBOX Times Square reprises some of the vignettes from last year's FUNBOX2000 (which enjoyed a five month run) with a bunch of new additions. Billed as a "roller coaster ride through the senses," this audience-participation event brings movement-based acting together with a mix of texts from Whitman, Shakespeare and instruction labels on household products.

Mark Greenfield directs a company that includes Corey Carthew, Lamar Davenport, Tom Day, Josh Dibb, Don Downie, Emily Doubilet, Carrie DuBois, Brie Jonti Eley, Layna Fisher, Mark Frankos, Jenni Graham, Lisa Hargus, Susan Hyon, Cerris Morgan-Moyer, Brian Simons, Nakia Syvonne, Constance Tarbox, Mike Urdaneta, Ben Wilson and Jen Wineman.

Set design is provided by Michael Casselli, costumes by Carrie DuBois and Constance Tarbox. Lighting design is handled by Sarah Sidman and sound design is by Jeremy X. Halpern.
