LOS ANGELES -- Jules Feiffer's Little Murders will keep on leaving audiences in stitches at the Odyssey Theatre until Oct. 18. The production began Aug. 22 for what was originally supposed to be a seven-week run.

The revival of Jules Feiffer's urban satire about meaningless violence in America is directed by Ron Sossi, with an ensemble cast featuring Jacque Lynn Colton, John P. Connolly, Kenneth Dolin, Michael Faulkner, Danny Goldman, Christian Gossett, Tom Lillard, Erin Noble and Joseph Whipp.

Little Murders premiered on Broadway in 1967 and closed in a week, but it later achieved success in England, Europe South Africa and Australia before returning to New York in 1969 in an Off-Broadway production that won an Obie Award.

The famed cartoonist Feiffer's other plays include The White House Murder Case and Carnal Knowledge, among others.

Performances are Wed.-Sat. at 8 PM; Sun at 7 PM thru Oct. 18. Tickets range from $18.50-$22.50, with a student/senior rush at a discount of $5. The Odyssey is at 2055 S. Sepulveda Blvd. Call (310) 477-2055. -- By Willard Manus
