"In a highly politicized and over-spun media world," reads an announcement, "Joe's Pub provides an oasis for First Amendment frivolity on the first Tuesday of every month. Join us for a celebration of art, opinions, and politics from a diverse group of outspoken artists and performers."
The current schedule (subject to change) includes:
May 6 (9:30 PM) - Tammy Faye Starlite - "Where Is America Going?" Additional names and dates will be announced.
