News Fiddler on the Roof Producers Cancel October 11 Performance The performance falls on the eve of the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur.

Producers of the Tony-nominated revival of Fiddler on the Roof, which concludes its run December 31 at the Broadway Theatre, have canceled the October 11 performance, which falls on the evening of the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur, to give company members who observe the holiday the ability to do so.

The classic American musical will instead play a special Columbus Day performance October 10 at 8 PM as well as 7:30 PM evening shows October 9 and 16.

Fiddler, which stars multiple Tony nominee Danny Burstein, has also announced its December holiday schedule: December 24 at 3 PM, December 26 at 3 PM, December 27 at 2 PM and 8 PM, December 28 at 2 PM and 8 PM, December 29 at 7 PM, December 30 at 2 PM and 8 PM and December 31 at 2 PM. The regular performance schedule is Tuesdays at 7 PM, Wednesdays at 2 PM and 8 PM, Thursdays at 7 PM, Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2 PM and 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
