Harvey Fierstein may be known for his Tony Award-winning work as a librettist (La Cage aux Folles), playwright (Torch Song Trilogy) and actor (Hairspray), but he is unmistakable for his deep, raspy voice.

In the Dec. 14 episode of TV's "How I Met Your Mother," Fierstein's trademark sound was put to use as the voice acquired by the lovable Lily (played by Alyson Hannigan) when she starts smoking again.
