A film based on Canada's Stratford Festival production of Long Day's Journey Into Night was named Best Film at the Toronto International Film Festival. The movie, which features the entire original stage cast, including William Hutt, Martha Henry and Tom McCamus, debuted at the festival Sept. 6, and opened at Canadian cinemas the folloowing week.
The film was produced by Toronto-based Rhombus Media, (the company that produced the award-winning 32 Short Films About Glenn Gould).
