Broadway's Kerry Butler, Barrett Foa, Hunter Foster, Kaitlin Hopkins, Leslie Kritzer, Kate Reinders and more will join Fyvush Finkel performing the songs of Kirshenbaum, whose musicals include Summer of '42, Party Come Here and Vanities – A New Musical.

Two performances will play the popular night spot at The Public Theater, Nov. 20 at 9:30 PM and 11:30 PM.

Expect songs from the past, songs from forthcoming projects and songs from the emergent new shows Party Come Here (being seen in the New York Musical Theatre Festival in September) and Vanities – A New Musical (being showcased in the National Alliance for Musical Theatre Festival of New Musicals in October in Manhattan).

"Places That You've Never Been Before" was a song Kirshenbaum wrote for Celia Keenan-Bolger for her Ars Nova concert several years ago. It's now part of the song cycle/show he's working on with Georgia Stitt, Sing Me a Happy Song.

Scheduled to perform at Joe's Pub are Kerry Butler (Little Shop of Horrors, Hairspray), Ryan Driscoll (Summer of '42), Fyvush Finkel (TV's "Picket Fences" and "Boston Public"), Barrett Foa (Spelling Bee, Avenue Q), Hunter Foster (The Producers), Kaitlin Hopkins (The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Bat Boy), Leslie Kritzer (The Great American Trailer Park Musical), Terrence Mann (Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, Cats), Karen Olivo (Brooklyn, Rent), Susan Owen (Phantom of the Opera), Kate Reinders (Wicked) and Miriam Shor (Hedwig and the Angry Inch). It's a busy year for Kirshenbaum. In addition to the showcases of his new works in Manhattan, the score of Summer of '42 (with a libretto by Hunter Foster) will be released in a two-CD set by Jay Records this fall.

Vanities, based on Jack Heifner's smash play, had its world premiere earlier this year at TheatreWorks in California. Heifner wrote the libretto.

Kirshenbaum wrote Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus (book by Myles McDonnell) and has composed for the Disney Channel series "Johnny and the Sprites." He has received grants from the Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation and the National Alliance for Musical Theatre.

The Joe's Pub concert will have musical direction by Vadim Feichtner (Spelling Bee), leading a three-piece band, with additional arrangements by Lynne Shankel (Altar Boyz) and Carmel Dean (Vanities – A New Musical). The evening is produced by Jayson Raitt.

Cover is $25 plus a two-drink minimum or $12 food minimum per person at tables. Joe's Pub is located at 425 Lafayette Avenue. For tickets, call (212) 539-8778.
