Heather Hope's cautionary tale about young actors striving for success in Tinseltown, Fine in Hollywood, recently had its world premiere at the Flight Theatre at the Complex, in Hollywood. Performances began July 13 for an opening July 21 and a run through Aug. 26. Peter Mattsson is the director, Ed Gordon the executive producer.

Hope was born in Charleston, West Virginia and attended West Virgina University. She interned at NBC on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" and was a personal assistant to Jennifer Aniston. She now concentrates on writing and producing her own projects.

Fine in Hollywood deals with a house full of young people, mostly twentysomethings and actors. When one of them lands a starring role and becomes a celebrity, his relationships with his friends are altered forever.

The cast includes Thomas Weber, Benjamin Burdick, Alberto Carroll, Tawnya Michelle Worsham, Jennifer Lyn Grant and Grace Renn.
