The official release of the disc is Feb. 2, but fans can snag them a day early at the Barnes and Noble at Lincoln Triangle, 1972 Broadway at 66th Street, in Manhattan.

Expected to perform with music director/pianist Rob Berman are Kate Baldwin, Christopher Fitzgerald and Cheyenne Jackson, who will be joined (for the CD signing) by Guy Davis, Alina Faye, Jim Norton, Brian Reddy and Terri White.

Prior to this event, the CD was previously available only at the St. James Theatre for a few days before the acclaimed revival shuttered on Jan. 17. The disc will be released at retail and online outlets, as well as digitally, on Feb. 2.

* The critically acclaimed new Broadway production of the romantic musical comedy fantasy Finian's Rainbow closed Jan. 17 after 22 previews and 92 performances.

Finian's Rainbow opened Oct. 29, 2009, at Broadway's St. James Theatre to some of the best reviews of the season.

The producers David Richenthal, Jack Viertel and Alan D. Marks stated Dec. 30, "Despite the rave reviews and extraordinarily positive audience reception, the economic realities of Broadway today do not allow us to play at the St. James as long as we would have hoped. We are thrilled, however, that our gorgeous musical score — performed by our incredible cast and brilliant orchestra — lives on in our soon to be released cast album."

The Green Day rock musical American Idiot will move into the St. James, a coveted large musical theatre house, in the spring.

Finian's Rainbow has a book by Yip Harburg and Fred Saidy; lyrics by Yip Harburg; music by Burton Lane; with book adaptation for this revival by Arthur Perlman. This production began as an Encores! concert revival in spring 2009 (book adaptation for New York City Center Encores! by David Ives). Both the concert and subsequent Broadway production were directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle.
