Hillary Rodham Clinton's listening tour/proto-senate campaign will make several New York City stops on Oct. 24. Most important to theatre patrons is the DCCC fundraiser planned for 6:30 PM at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers, located at 811 Seventh Avenue. Though there will not be any closures of streets, traffic delays are possible and theatre patrons may want to avoid the area. The NYPD's Deputy Commissioner for Public Information (DCPI) told Playbill On-Line that the First Lady's presence does not necessarily prompt the closure of streets.
On Oct. 25, the day after her campaign work in NYC, the President and Mrs. Clinton take center stage at the Ford Center for the First Lady's birthday bash/senate campaign fundraiser.
