The U.K. premiere of Branden Jacob-Jenkins’ Gloria is set to open at the Hampstead Theatre June 21. The play, directed by Michael Longhurst, is about a group of editorial assistants working at a notorious Manhattan magazine, each highly ambitious and hoping for the next big book deal before they hit 30. In this already competitive environment, an ordinary day turns out to be anything but, and the stakes for the entire group become even higher.
