Josh Strickland, who created the title role in the original 2006 Broadway staging of the musical Tarzan, has returned to the part in the German production of the Disney work, which is now playing in Oberhausen.

Tarzan, based on the 1999 Disney film of the same name and the story by Edgar Rice Burroughs, has music and lyrics by Grammy winner Phil Collins and a book by Tony winner David Henry Hwang. Strickland starred in the title role throughout the musical's entire 486-performance Broadway run.
