Tony Award winners Janet McTeer and Liev Schreiber star as La Marquise de Merteuil and Le Vicomte de Valmont, respectively, in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Christopher Hampton's play about sexual intrigue in 18th century France.

They are joined by Tony nominee Mary Beth Peil as Madame de Rosemonde, Pitch Perfect 2 actress Birgitte Hjort Sørensen as Madame de Tourvel, Elena Kampouris (My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2) making her Broadway debut as Cécile Volangel, Raffi Barsoumian as Le Chevalier Danceny, Ora Jones as Madame de Volanges, Elena Kampouris as Cécile Volanges, Katrina Cunningham as Émilie, Josh Salt as Azolan, Joy Franz as Victoire, David Patterson as Major-domo, and Laura Sudduth as Julie.

Staged by Donmar artistic director Josie Rourke, the production officially opens October 30 at the Booth Theatre. The 15-week limited engagement is scheduled to conclude January 22, 2017.

In the play, former lovers the Marquise de Merteuil (McTeer) and Vicomte de Valmont (Schreiber) now compete in games of seduction and revenge. Merteuil incites Valmont to corrupt the innocent Cécile Volanges before her wedding night, but Valmont has targeted the peerlessly virtuous and beautiful Madame de Tourvel. While these merciless aristocrats toy with others' hearts and reputations, their own may prove more fragile than they supposed.
