News Fish in the Dark Star Larry David Brings Down the "SNL" House with Bernie Sanders Impression Larry David, star of Broadway's Fish in the Dark, brought down the house on the Oct. 17 "Saturday Night Live" cold open, in which he impersonated presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

The format of the opening skit was a parody of the recent Democratic candidates debate. David portrayed Sanders as an crotchety oldster ranting about the fact that the country is doomed and people should trust him because he owns only a single pair of underwear. Broadway veteran Alec Baldwin also appeared in the sketch.

David appears at the 2:07 mark.
