News Fish in the Dark, With Jason Alexander, Will Offer $35 Rush Tickets Larry David's comedy Fish in the Dark, which gets a new star June 9 with the arrival of "Seinfeld" actor Jason Alexander, has announced its general rush policy.

The Broadway comedy began performances in February and has starred its author. David is scheduled to play his final performance June 7. The new rush policy commences with Alexander's first performance, June 9. The limited engagement is scheduled to end June 18.

A limited number of rush tickets, which are subject to availability, can be purchased at the box office of the Cort Theatre when the box office opens for the day of the performance on a first-come, first-served basis. The Cort box office opens at 10 AM Monday-Saturday, and noon Sunday. Rush tickets are $35 each and are limited to two tickets per customer.

The show set the record for the highest advance sales for a straight play in the history of Broadway before it began previews in early February, and since then has broken the Cort Theatre box office house record twice.

Full-price tickets are available at Telecharge.com, by calling (212) 239-6200, or by visiting the box office of the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th St). A limited number of $37 standing room tickets will be sold at the Cort Theatre box office beginning at 10 AM the day of each performance.
