News Flea Market's Celebrity Booth to Feature Groff, Rapp, Peters, Mitchell and Ebersole A host of Broadway favorites will take part in the 21st Annual Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction held in Shubert Alley.

The Sept. 23 outdoor fundraiser raises money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and features theatrical memorabilia donated by the theatrical community. The day-long event (10 AM-7 PM) also boasts a Celebrity Booth, where theatre fans can purchase autographs by, or photos with, their favorite stars from Broadway, Off-Broadway and television serials. There is a $20 charge each time one walks through the Celebrity Booth line.

As of press time, those scheduled to take part in the Celebrity Booth include the following talents:

11-11:50 AM: F. Murray Abraham, Jonathan Groff, Lea Michele

Noon-12:50 PM: Anthony Rapp, Ilene Kristen, JoAnne Worley, Julia Murney, Kerry Butler, Orfeh

1-1:50 PM: Beth Leavel, Debra Monk, Marian Seldes, Mary Testa, Tony Roberts 2-2:50 PM: Bryan Batt, Christine Ebersole, Dana Ivey, Jake Silberman, Kamar de los Reyes, Robin Strasser, Sherri Saum, Van Hansis

3-3:50 PM: Amy Irving, Bernadette Peters, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Christopher Sieber, Corin Redgrave, Jeff Branson, Lynn Redgrave, Melissa Claire Egan, Nicole Forester, Robert Newman, Vanessa Redgrave.

Last year's Flea Market — held Sept. 24, 2006, in Shubert Alley — raised $505,832 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The booth that raised the most money ($24,311) was hosted by the United Scenic Artists. The show booth that raised the most money was The Phantom of the Opera, which took in $13,230. Since its debut in 1987, the annual fundraiser has brought in $6,551,418 for BC/EFA.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's largest industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization. Since its founding in 1988 the organization has distributed over $110 million for services for people with AIDS, HIV or HIV-related illnesses.
