Classic Arts News Florida's Kravis Center, Damaged by Hurricane Frances, Closes for Repairs Florida's Kravis Center for the Performing Arts has closed its main performance space, Dreyfoos Hall, and canceled performances through October 5 due to damage from Hurricane Frances, the center announced.
Repairs to the 2,193-seat West Palm Beach venue are expected to take three weeks, and will not affect the center's 2004-05 season, which begins October 7 with a concert by folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary.

Several performances of a touring production of the Broadway musical Cats originally scheduled for next week were postponed until June 2005.
