The book, which features illustrations by Amy June Bates, also includes an introduction by Tony Award winner Phyllis Newman (Subways Are for Sleeping, Broadway Bound), wife of the late Green.

Here's how the new book is described: "Lyrics of two beloved songs from Peter Pan, ['I'm Flying' by Leigh and Morris 'Moose' Charlap, and 'Never Never Land' by Comden, Green and Jule Styne], with paintings by Amy June Bates, are transformed into a magical picture book sure to enchant the musical's legions of new and returning fans. Acclaimed songwriters Betty Comden, Adolph Green and Carolyn Leigh know a thing or two about crafting songs that touch hearts and imaginations and endure for generations. They hit one of their many pinnacles with this pair of lovely odes to 'a place where dreams are born' and the joys of flying — whether over a sleeping city or inside one’s very own bedroom."

Up-and-coming talent have recorded "I'm Flying" and "Never Never Land," which are available for purchase through iTunes.

Featured on the songs are Matthew Schecter (Newsies), Bailey Grey (Stephen Schwartz's Séance on a Wet Afternoon), Noah Marlowe ("30 Rock") and Ellis Gage (James and the Giant Peach at Goodspeed Opera House).

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of "Flying to Neverland with Peter Pan" benefit The Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative.
