News Follies and Hunter Foster-Directed Quartet Set for Rep Theatre of St. Louis The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis has announced its 2016-17 season, which will kick off in September with the classic Stephen Sondheim-James Goldman musical Follies.

According to stltoday.com, the award-winning musical that concerns a reunion of former Follies stars will be presented at the St. Louis venue Sept. 7-Oct. 2. Rob Ruggiero will direct with costumes by Amy Clark, lighting by John Lasiter, choreography by Ralph Perkins and scenic design by Michael Schweikardt. Casting has yet to be announced.

The world premiere of Until the Flood, written and performed by Dael Orlandersmith, will follow, playing Oct. 12-Nov. 6. Directed by Neel Keller, the one-woman play details the "events that followed the death of Michael Brown."

The upcoming season will also include A Christmas Carol (Nov. 30-Dec. 24), All My Sons (Jan. 4-29, 2017) and To Kill a Mockingbird (Feb. 8-March 5).

The season will conclude with the hit musical Million Dollar Quartet, which is scheduled for March 15-April 9. Tony nominee Hunter Foster, seen in the Broadway production of the musical conceived by Floyd Mutrux, will direct.
