LaBeouf, who also exited the Broadway bow of Lyle Kessler's Orphans — due to creative differences with the cast — was silent during a brief hearing held July 24 in Manhattan Criminal Court.

The actor's attorney, G. Robert Gage, Jr., and assistant New York County district attorney Ali Russell said they were discussing a possible resolution to the case and asked judge Ann Scherzer for additional time.

According to Reuters, LaBeouf, 28, was charged with one count of trespass and one count of criminal trespass and harassment in the second degree during his arraignment June 27 following the performance of Cabaret at Studio 54.

Following his Cabaret outburst, LaBeouf's publicist said the actor was receiving outpatient care for addiction and that he had realized his strange behavior was a symptom of a bigger health problem.
