News   Following It Shoulda Been You, Josh Grisetti Will Head to NYC's Fringe Festival

The New York International Fringe Festival and CitySalt Theatricals will present The Crack in the Ceiling, starring It Shoulda Been You actor Josh Grisetti, beginning Aug. 15 at The Lynn Redgrave Theatre (Venue #13).

Created and written by James Harvey with direction by Stephen Tyler Davis, performances will be held Aug. 15 at 8:30 PM, Aug. 18 at 2 PM, Aug. 22 at 6:30 PM, Aug. 25 at 8 PM and Aug. 28 at 2:30 PM. Here's how the piece is billed: "Ellen, a distraught single mother, discovers a crack in her kitchen ceiling — and no one seems to be able to repair it. As a bizarre series of handymen, plumbers, and spiritual healers try to solve the problem, Ellen finds that more than her home is at risk: her family and her sanity are increasingly put to the test in this dark musical comedy."

Grisetti made his Broadway debut in It Shoulda Been You although he was scheduled to appear in Neil Simon's Broadway Bound, but the production was canceled before it began performances. Read about how his worst nightmare provided strength for his journey to Broadway.

The Lynn Redgrave Theatre is located at 45 Bleecker Street. Tickets are free and can be reserved beginning July 17 at FringeNYC.org. For more information, visit TheCrackintheCeiling.com.
