The Nov. 13 concert — created and hosted by Scott Siegel — will feature tunes from the American musical theatre performed without the use of microphones. Nearly 20 stars will lend their unamplified voices to the one-night-only event. Those performers scheduled to participate include Nancy Anderson, Sarah Uriarte Berry, Chuck Cooper, Roosevelt Andre Credit, Bill Daugherty, Jeffry Denman, Hunter Foster, Lisa Howard, Barb Jungr, Eddie Korbich, Marc Kudisch, Douglas Ladnier, Beth Leavel, Norm Lewis, Liz McCartney, William Michals, Euan Morton, Connie Pachl and John Lloyd Young. Show time is 8 PM. In a previous statement producer Siegel said, "Of all the concerts that I produce, this one seems the most ideally matched between performer and audience; both are hungry for the experience. The performers are excited to put their own talents on the line, while musical theatre audiences — sick to death of over-amplified productions — are thrilled to hear these great voices, singing great Broadway songs, the way they it used to be heard."

The recording of the first Broadway Unplugged concert — held Sept. 27, 2004, at Town Hall — is available on CD. The Bayview Recordings disc features performances by Christine Andreas, Stephanie J. Block, Michael Cerveris, Ann Harada, Marc Kudisch, Norm Lewis, Alice Ripley, Mary Testa and many others. Visit www.bayviewrecords.com for details.
