News   Foster, Schwartz, Wilfert and Loprest Cast in Pittsburgh CLO Summer Musicals Tony nominee Hunter Foster, Chandra Lee Schwartz and Sally Wilfert are among the latest Broadway folk to join the summer season at Pittsburgh CLO.

Foster will portray the Baker in the CLO production of Into the Woods, which stars previously announced Tony winner Beth Leavel as the Witch. The cast of Into the Woods will also feature Foster's wife, Jennifer Cody (Shrek), as Little Red, Kevin Early (Tale of Two Cities) as the Wolf/Cinderella's Prince, Greggory Brandt (Les Miserables) as Rapunzel's Prince, Tim Hartman (Tale of Two Cities) as Narrator/Mysterious Man, Lauren Sprague as Cinderella's Stepmother and Elise Santora as Milky White. Into the Woods runs Aug. 4-9.

Peter Matthew Smith (Cry-Baby, Hairspray) will appear as the Pharoah/Levi opposite Shoshana Bean (Wicked) as the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The cast includes Gene A. Saraceni as Jacob, Sae La Chin, Tracy Groth, Elisa Halma, Jamie Markovich, Gabrielle McClinton, Natalie Newman, Ahmad Simmons, Jason Sparks, Lauren Sprague and Kathryn Lin Terza. Joseph runs May 26-June 7.

The CLO production of Barry Manilow's Copacabana, starring Tony Yasbeck as Tony and Robert Cuccioli as Rico, has announced new cast members, including Chandra Lee Schwartz (Gypsy, Hairspray) as Lola, Sally Wilfert (Make Me A Song) as Gladys, Stephen Berger (The Pajama Game) as Sam and Elise Santora (The Capeman) as Conchita. Copacabana runs July 21-Aug. 2.

Cuccioli and Wilfert will also appear as Javert and Madame Thenardier, respectively, in the resident staging of the Boublil and Schönberg musical Les Miserables. The cast of Les Miz also features Broadway veterans Fred Inkley as Jean Valjean and Jacquelyn Piro Donovan as Fantine, as well as Kevin Earley as Enjolras, Tim Hartman as Thenardier, Matthew Scott (A Catered Affair) as Marius, Kate Loprest (Xanadu) as Cosette, as well as Greggory Brandt, Skye Scott, Jason Sparks and Lauren Sprague. Les Miz runs July 7-19.

The cast of the Broadway revue Swing! will star Kevin Early, Alan H. Green and Kate Loprest, running Jun 20-26. The summer schedule will also welcome the national tour of Legally Blonde June 9-14.
