The New Directions from McKinley High School will be back Sept. 20 when "Glee" returns to its Tuesday-night slot at 8 PM ET, followed by the series debut of "New Girl" at 9 PM ET and "Raising Hope" at 9:30 PM ET.

"The X Factor" will air on Wednesday and Thursday nights and will have a two-night series premiere Sept. 21-22 at 8 PM ET. The singing competition, hosted by Steve Jones and featuring judges Simon Cowell, Antonio “L.A.” Reid, Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, will award the next superstar solo artist or breakout musical group a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music.

"I Hate My Teenage Daughter," featuring Tony Award winner Katie Finneran, will premiere Nov. 23 at 9:30 PM ET and will follow "The X Factor" on Thursday nights. Finneran will co-star with Jaime Pressly. The two play single moms, life-long friends—and former nerds—who fear their privileged and overly indulged daughters are turning out just like the mean girls who picked on them in high school.
