Broadway favorite Charlotte d'Amboise, a Tony nominee for her performances in Jerome Robbins' Broadway and the revival of A Chorus Line, returns to the long-running, Tony-winning revival of Chicago July 20 at the Ambassador Theatre.
D'Amboise, a frequent presence in the hit musical, returns to the role of Roxie Hart. The triple threat succeeds Robyn Hurder.
About playing many stints in Chicago, d'Amboise previously told Playbill, “I love that show. I love it, love it, love it. I've been in and out of it for years…. They call me up and they say, ’Come on in for a few months,’ and I'm like, ’Great!’ It always gets me back in shape. It gets me feeling good about myself. It's always a fun thing to be in a happy show.”
