According to People magazine, "The Nanny" star and Ayyadurai, who holds the patent for creating email, were wed at their home on the beach among an intimate group of close family and friends.
The couple met over a year ago at an event hosted by Deepak Chopra, at which Ayyadurai was a speaker. Drescher tweeted a picture from their ceremony Sept. 8.

Drescher was previously married to Peter Marc Jacobson. The couple divorced in 1999, and Jacobson later came out as gay.
