Touchstone Theatre in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a performer-based, actor-driven theatre ensemble, is presenting a new adaptation of Frankenstein, running April 22 to May 9.The play is written and directed by Conrad Bishop and Elizabeth Fuller.

A co-production with Philadelphia's Independent Eye, the darkly comic show features Graham Percy as Dr. Frankenstein, Cora Hook as his fiancee and Mark McKenna, Touchstone's artistic director, as the Creature. "It really poses the question, 'How does one create a monster and what is one's responsibility towards that?'" says McKenna, adding that the headlines about cloning and the Arkansas schoolyard massacre add new relevance to Mary Shelley's timeless story.
