News Free Reading of Going After Alice, with Weiss, Jacobs, Landis and Stadelmann, Offered Oct. 22 A staged reading of Going After Alice, presented by Square Peg Productions, is scheduled for Oct. 22 at the Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater.

Douglas Mercer directs Megan Mostyn-Brown's new play. The 7 PM reading features the talents of Betsey Aidem, Sonia Feigelson, Gillian Jacobs, Chris Landis, Matthew Stadelmann and Michael T. Weiss. "When their son Sam is killed in Iraq," read Going After Alice press notes, "the Robertson family is forced to face reality. As they struggle with their grief, a mysterious young girl brings hope into their lives. A powerful new play about love, loss and the search for oneself."

Playwright Mostyn-Brown has also penned Girl, The Secret Lives of Losers, 4th of July, The Hawk Has no Home, Lizards and The Rest of Your Life.

The Linda Gross Theater is located in Manhattan at 336 W. 20th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. Reservations can be made by emailing [email protected]; seating is limited.
