News Free Reading of Mensch's All Hail Hurricane Gordo Presented March 12 The free Out Loud reading series will continue March 12 at the Ars Nova with All Hail Hurricane Gordo.

Carly Mensch's dark comedy will be presented at 7 PM. The cast for the one-night-only reading includes Jessie Campbell and Michael Chernus; Hal Brooks directs. "Brothers Chaz and Gordo have been living in paralysis ever since they were abandoned in a strip mall parking lot long ago," read Gordo press notes. "But when Chaz decides to take in an undercover runaway, everything goes to hell in a French horn case."

Playwright Mensch has also penned The Delicate Business of Boy and Miss Girl, The Wash Cycle, Paint the Town Black, Sally and Bradshaw. She is currently a fellow at Juilliard's Lila Acheson Wallace Playwrights Program.
