Evan Yionoulis (Glimmer, Glimmer, Shine) will direct the 4 PM reading that will feature Teagle F. Bougere (Wings at Second Stage), Kristen Connolly (Certainty) and Brad Heberlee (This Beautiful City).

According to Naked Angels, "Home Front tells the story of an interracial love affair between James, an African-American solider, and Annie, a white woman, that begins right after World War II. Though both black soldiers and female civilians enjoyed new liberties during the course of the conflict, the two groups—and James and Annie in particular—soon find that those freedoms do not necessarily extend to peacetime."

Leight earned a Tony Award for his jazz-tinged play Side Man. The work was also nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. His plays include Glimmer, Glimmer and Shine, The Final Investigation of Ceaucescu's Dog and the book for the musical Mayor. He is the executive producer of the television series "Lights Out" and "Law and Order: Criminal Intent."

The D-Lounge is located downstairs at the Daryl Roth Theatre in Union Square (101 East 15th Street). Reservations are not required.
