The 6 PM event commemorates the Department of the Interior's recent designation of The Town Hall as a National Historic Landmark Site and celebrates its newly elected president and CEO, Michael Presser.

Hosted by NY1 anchor Roma Torre, The Trustees of The Town Hall Foundation honors the 92-year-old New York City landmark with performances from Jordan, three-time Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker, Chicago stars Amy Spanger and Amra-Faye Wright, the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera (Samantha Hill and Kyle Barisich), Off-Broadway's Avenue Q (Veronica J. Kuehn and Hazel Anne Raymundo), The New York City Gay Men's Chorus and The Town Hall Broadway's Rising Stars Chorus.

Jordan is slated to perform the song "Her Embrace" from the new original musical Faustus, featuring music and lyrics by Michael Mott and a book by Justin Silvestri.

Free tickets were made available March 25 at noon at The Town Hall box office, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

"With this exciting event we are opening our doors to New York audiences and the arts community as we all come together to celebrate this beloved New York City institution," said Presser, who succeeds Marvin Leffler — who served for 33 years and is now president emeritus — in a previous statement. "As the newly elected president I am looking forward to many more events to come as a new era at Town Hall begins." First opened to the public on Jan. 12, 1921, in its 92 years The Town Hall has hosted many celebrated artistic, political and public figures, including, German composer Richard Strauss (who performed there in February 1921 just weeks after it opened), Eleanor Roosevelt (who spoke and appeared on numerous occasions), renowned singer Marian Anderson (who made her New York debut at The Town Hall in 1924), jazz musicians Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker (who played together at a concert in June 1945) and, more recently, President Barack Obama, Woody Allen, John Grisham, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Billy Joel, Liza Minnelli, Bruce Springsteen and Whitney Houston (who performed for the very first time at age 14 at The Town Hall).
