Freestyle Love Supreme, the freestyle hip-hop comedy crew featuring Hamilton creator/star Lin-Manuel Miranda, returns to New York’s Gramercy Theatre September 30 for two shows, 5:30 and 8 PM.
The performance also features fellow Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin), Anthony Veneziale (Trauma, PBS' The Electric Company), Chris “Shockwave" Sullivan (PBS' The Electric Company), singer-songwriter Arthur Lewis, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Bill Sherman.
Miranda, creator of the Tony Award-winning musicals Hamilton and In the Heights, promises to “take the crowd on a non-stop, hip hop improv ride, spinning cues from the audience into instantaneous riffs and fully realized musical numbers.”
The Gramercy Theatre is located at 127 E. 23rd Street. For more information and tickets, call (800) 745-3000 or visit www.livenation.com or www.freestylelovesupreme.com.
