Friends of singing actor Terri White, last seen on Broadway as Stella Deems in the 2011 revival of Follies, have created a GoFundMe page to raise funds for White's medical expenses.

A note on the fundraising page reads, “Dear Friends, Fans & Colleagues of Terri White. She is in need of our help. Terri has a rare blood disease and is in need of chemotherapy treatments. Terri has no insurance. The treatments are 1500.00 per week plus 1,000.00 in prescriptions. Please consider donating to help Terri. She has done so much over the years singing in benefits and helping others. Now she needs our help. I thank you for anything you can do. Sending all love and light.”

As of 9:30 AM November 17, $10,300 has been raised towards a $12,000 goal.

White has also been seen on Broadway in Barnum, Ain't Misbehavin', Welcome to the Club, Chicago, and Finian's Rainbow. She married her wife, Donna Barnett, on the stage of the St. James Theatre. Barnett posted the following on GoFundMe: “We are totally overwhelmed by outpouring of generosity and love being sent to Terri! We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!”
