The Tony winner will return to Broadway as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady this October.

Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, who was last seen on Broadway in Meteor Shower, will take over the leading role of Eliza Doolittle in the Tony-nominated Lincoln Center Theater revival of My Fair Lady. Benanti received Tony Award nominations for her work in Swing!, Into the Woods, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, and She Loves Me, and won the Best Featured Actress in a Musical Tony for her performance in Gypsy. Her stage work also includes Nine, The Wedding Singer, and In the Next Room.

Her TV work includes roles on The Playboy Club, Nashville, Supergirl, and TBS' The Detour, as well as a recent guest arc on TV Land's Younger. She also played Elsa Schrader on NBC's The Sound of Music Live!
