Tony winner Idina Menzel celebrates her birthday May 30. Menzel last appeared on Broadway in 2014’s If/Then, for which she earned a Tony nomination. She previously won a Tony for her performance as Elphaba in Wicked and earned her first nomination for originating the role of Maureen in Rent. She has also been featured on TV in Glee, and sang the Oscar-winning song “Let It Go” in the animated Disney film Frozen.

Idina Menzel returns to the stage in the world premiere of Joshua Harmon's play Skintight at Roundabout Theatre Company this season. Performances begin May 31 in the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre, with an official opening set for June 21.
