News "Frozen," Gent's Guide and A Christmas Story Teams Will Compose For New Kids Musical Revue Theatreworks USA will launch a new weekend performance series at the Danny Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College with Fly Guy and Other Stories starting Oct. 18 – a new children’s musical revue featuring songs penned by the Academy Award-winning songwriting team of "Frozen," Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Tony Award winners Steven Lutvak and Robert L. Freedman (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder) and Tony nominees Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (A Christmas Story) amongst others.

According to press notes, "Theatreworks USA is America's foremost professional theatre for young and family audiences," and this hour-long series of musical shorts will feature adaptations of seven delightful children’s stories - including “Diary of a Worm," based on "Diary of A Worm" by Doreen Cronin and Harry Bliss and adapted by Lopez and Anderson-Lopez; "A Prize for Fluffy," based on "Fluffy's Silly Summer," by Kate McMullan, adapted by Lutvak and Freedman; and "Horace & Morris But Mostly Dolores," based on the book of the same name by James Howe, adapted by Pasek and Paul.

Other contributing lyricists and composers for Fly Guy and Other Stories will include Kevin Del Aguila, Eli Bolin, Kate Anderson, Elyssa Samsel and Brad Alexander.

The Kaye Playhouse is located at E. 68th Street between Park & Lexington Avenues.
